This powder doesn't show up at all on my black hair. It does look at little bit grey when I use too much but it looks fine again as soon as I brush it out. I try to only use products containing organic(if possible) and natural ingredients so this is perfect if you're worried about that sort of thing :)No aerosol makes me happy as well. I also suffer from Celiac disease and although nothing says this product is gluten free, there are no ingredients containing gluten and I haven't had any negative reaction at all. Lastly, the smell is lovely. It smells like jasmine(obviously) and a little bit like straw or hay. You really can't go wrong with this.

I usually only like aerosol hair products, which is why I can only give this 4 stars. BUT, aside from my personal preference on that, this product works really well, which was a surprise to me for something organic! I tried to go almost all-organic when I was pregnant, and had a hard time finding organic hair products that worked well. I highly recommend!

I believe this was the first real 100% organic dry shampoo that hit the market and it is still probably the best. It has a number of scent options and has adorable, green-minded packaging. The Jasmine scent is probably the most popular so that's a good one to start with if you want to try this one. It also has travel sizes of the Jasmine and Lavender/Clary Sage scents (the two most popular scents I believe), and they are great to try this one for the first time and also carry with you. The salt shaker applicator is good for applying more at once, although it can be less exact than the dry shampoos (e.g., blandi, alterna) that have the pointed nozzle. Just depends on what you're looking for.
